More than conventional cleaning

Some properties need time, clear thinking and practical care — not assumptions.

We support individuals, families, landlords, estates and professional referrers when a home, garden or property has become difficult to manage. Every situation is approached on its own terms.

Our foundation

Built on lived experience.

This company grew from firsthand understanding of how quickly a property can become overwhelming — and how unhelpful shame, judgement or rushed decisions can be.

That experience shapes a steady, respectful way of working: listening first, agreeing a realistic scope and moving forward one practical step at a time.

My Story

Built on lived experience

Outdoor Indoor Cleaning Co was built on lived experience. I live with OCD, anxiety and depression, and understand how mental health, difficult circumstances and everyday pressures can leave both our surroundings and our lives feeling overwhelming.

I also have personal experience of hoarding tendencies — particularly possessions connected to work — so I understand that asking for help is rarely as simple as “just clearing things out.” Every item and every space can have a story behind it.

That experience shapes the way I work. I offer practical, respectful support without judgement, pressure or shame. I’m not a therapist or mental-health professional, but I can help you take manageable steps towards making your property safer, more accessible and easier to live in.

I speak openly about mental health because I don’t believe it should be hidden. If sharing part of my own story makes it easier for somebody else to open the door and ask for help, then it is worth sharing.

The importance of talking

Bottled Up Blokes

Bottled Up Blokes has been fundamental in helping me through my own mental-health journey, and its talk groups continue to give me somewhere safe to speak openly, listen and be understood.

Lived experience does not mean having all the answers. It also means recognising when you need support yourself. Returning to the group has reminded me that opening up is not a weakness and that nobody should feel they have to carry everything alone.
